Member of the Management Board of Enefit Green, Innar Kaasik, to Step Down from His Role
Innar Kaasik, Member of the Management Board of Enefit Green, will step down from his position at his own request, effective from June 7.
According to Juhan Aguraiuja, Chairman of the Management Board of Enefit Green, Kaasik has played a key role in the company’s development, particularly in implementing digital solutions in production and asset management. To take the next steps and unlock the full revenue potential of the company’s production portfolio in a changed market environment, a fresh perspective is needed.
“Enefit Green has grown and evolved significantly in recent years. The volume of production assets has increased, and they are spread across multiple countries. The market environment has also changed, requiring us to adjust production more precisely to market needs and consumption patterns. As we plan the company’s next steps, now is the right moment to bring a fresh outlook into the organization. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Innar for his dedication and steady leadership in building Enefit Green,” said Aguraiuja.
“My time at Enefit Green has been both exciting and rewarding from a leadership perspective. The energy sector is truly fascinating, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies – from hydro and biogas plants to cogeneration, as well as wind and solar parks. With the help of smart digital tools, we’ve brought data-driven management to the core of the company’s daily operations. Supporting the development of engineering talent and renewable energy education has given this journey a deeper meaning,” said Kaasik.
Innar Kaasik has been a member of the Management Board of Enefit Green since 2017, having previously been the CEO and Member of the Management Board of Enefit Taastuvenergia.
A recruitment process to find a new member of the Management Board will be initiated. Main tasks of the future member of the management board will be to enhance the income potential of Enefit Green's production portfolio and to develop a long-term plan for the Iru cogeneration plant.
Chairman of the Management Board Juhan Aguraiuja and CFO Argo Rannamets will continue as members of the Management Board of Enefit Green.
